Biomass is increasingly the favoured solution for heating large spaces. Most of us are familiar with wood burning stoves which use Biomass and woodburners are an attractive and well established heating solution. Our partner company Green Man Stoves has an established reputation for lining chimneys and installing solid fuel stoves and cookers to suit just about every situation.

Green Man Renewables has developed links with companies supplying biomass central heating boilers. Most of these use wood pellets which are now widely available from a number of merchants. Wood pellets have a distinct advantage over conventional wood logs as the mechanisation of the harvesting and handling can be highly efficient and produce benefits from a high degree of automation.

A well designed Biomass heating system behaves very like a conventional central heating boiler, the fuel can be stored in a large hopper which feeds a highly efficient, automated boiler that can supply all your hot water and heating requirements. The new Biomass systems are suitable for both domestic and industrial use. They are also suitable for heating workshops, swimming pools, communal and office spaces.
